What did the Prehistoric Farm potions and clans update add?
A few hours before this guide’s source footage was recorded, the game shipped a small but unusually useful update built around two headline features: a potion shop and clans. Alongside them came a genuinely requested quality-of-life change — a Feed All button — and a quiet cleanup of the rarity labels that changes how the roster reads.
No official patch notes exist, and everything on this page comes from a single first-hours gameplay video by GojoOnRoblox, so every number below is labeled per footage rather than presented as an official stat. For how this drop fits the game’s timeline, see the update log.
Where is Roxy’s Potions in Prehistoric Farm?
The potion shop is a small open-air stall named Roxy’s Potions, sitting on the home island directly beside the ranch — the footage flies over the ranch’s red barn, lands, and the stall is right there. The narrator’s route: saddle any mount, ride past the ranch buildings, and you cannot miss the glowing storefront. He also points out you do not need a flyer to get there; it is walkable from your farm.

Interacting with the counter opens the shop tablet covered below. Buffs you drink show as timers on the left edge of the HUD — the footage carries a visible “+1x Growth” and “+2x Luck” countdown while traveling (see this moment).
How much do all five potions cost?
Roxy’s stock is five potions in two families — luck for digging, growth for raising dinos. Prices and effects straight from the shop menu, per footage:
| Potion | Effect | Duration | Price (each) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clover Tonic | +1.5 Luck | 15 min | 3,000 coins |
| Fortune Elixir | +2 Luck | 15 min | 7,200 coins |
| Sprout Draught | +1.5 Growth | 30 min | 2,400 coins |
| Bloom Brew | +2 Growth | 30 min | 5,400 coins |
| Titan Tonic | +4 Growth | 30 min | 15,000 coins |

The menu’s own footer explains the mechanics: “Hold a potion in your hotbar and click to drink it. Growth potions stack — drink different ones and they multiply!” So a Sprout Draught plus a Bloom Brew runs concurrently rather than overwriting. Each potion also has an x5 bundle button at five times the single price. If the 15,000-coin top shelf looks steep, our money guide covers the income routes that make it a round-trip errand (see the full menu).
Is Titan Tonic worth the 15,000 coins?
The footage makes the strongest case possible: the recorder stocked 94 bottles (see the stock) — he explicitly says he hoarded them in case the price rises — and then ran a live test. He fabricated a Common Iguanodon from a fossil at Dr. Ivy’s DNA lab, hatched it, and let the tonic (stacked with his 2x growth game pass) do the work: the newborn hit Juvenile in about 25 seconds, and by his readout the whole road to adult took roughly four minutes.

His verdict, and a fair one: growth potions are the cheaper alternative to the game’s most expensive game pass — the 2x growth pass — which many players skipped. A 30-minute 4x window for 15,000 coins is ideal for hatching batches; pair it with the hatch timers in the egg incubation guide (see the card hit Juvenile in 21s).
How do you get triple luck in Prehistoric Farm?
Luck is a multiplicative stack, and the shop’s Boosts tab draws the whole picture. In the footage, the “Your luck” readout shows x3.00, built from two chips: the Luck Potion at x2 (Fortune Elixir, with about 10 minutes left on its timer) times the VIP game pass at x1.5 (active forever). The third chip — Weather at x1.5 — sat greyed out under “clear skies”, which is exactly the narrator’s point: his triple luck was achieved without any weather bonus, so an active weather multiplier would push the total higher.

Practical read, per footage: drink a Fortune Elixir (+2 luck, 15 minutes) before a digging or boss-drop session, and it multiplies with whatever passive luck you own. Where big luck numbers matter most is boss farming — the mechanics are in the Raptor X boss guide (see the boosts screen).
How do you create a clan in Prehistoric Farm?
Open the menu and pick Clan. Creating one cost the footage’s recorder 100,000 coins, per his own account, and his brand-new clan page shows what you get: a clan name with a tag, a level with XP progress (his sat at 462 / 5,000 XP), a member roster up to 30 slots, and a private chat separate from the server — the menu bills it as “your pack: chat from any server, rally for boss fights and level up together.”

Roles are simple: the founder is Alpha, everyone else starts as Hunter, and the member row carries PROMOTE, KICK and MAKE ALPHA buttons for management. The narrator reads Make Alpha as handing over banishment-level rights — worth being deliberate about (see the clan menu).
What can you customize in a clan?
The CLAN tab is a full identity editor: pick a symbol, a badge color, set the join status to Open, Request or Closed, and set a minimum level gate (the footage shows 40 — aimed at competitive hunting clans that want experienced members). Below sit the two irreversible actions: renaming costs 100,000 coins — the price is printed right on the field — and disbanding, which warns that everyone is removed and the chat is deleted.

Note the honest wrinkle: the narrator says creation cost 100,000, and the only price the menu displays is that same figure for renaming — treat both as footage-reported rather than official (see the settings tab).
What is the Colossal Squid on the clan hunts list?
The HUNTS tab is a weekly clan leaderboard — “This week”, resetting in a day and a half at the time of recording — tracking kills and damage against Mosasaurus, Nessie, Raptor X and True Boss. The leak sits in the middle: a fifth row, Colossal Squid, listed between Raptor X and True Boss with zero kills. The squid is not in the game yet, so its presence on the hunt board is the clearest sign yet of a planned ocean boss — something Discord leakers had guessed, now effectively confirmed by the UI.

The same screen keeps a clan log on the right, timestamping joins, settings changes and the founding of the clan. Clan hunting gives the Mosasaurus and Raptor X grind a group structure — both bosses have their own pages (see the hunts list).
Which rarities changed in the update?
The update re-labelled the roster’s top tiers, visible in the Your Dinos menu:
- Albino Rex is now Mutation — previously it counted as mythical, per the narrator.
- Nessie and Raptor X are Exotic.
- Mythic now belongs to the real dinosaurs: True Triceratops, True Argentinosaurus and True Mosasaurus — the “True” line the narrator calls real dinosaurs, a tier above everything else.
- Everything ordinary stays Common — the test Iguanodon wears the label.

The narrator approves: real dinosaurs were always the rarest chase, and now the label says so. How the top tier plays is covered in best dinosaurs (see the rarity labels).
What does the Feed All button do?
The last addition answers a daily annoyance: feeding a full ranch when one adult’s hitbox blocks everyone else. The Your Dinos menu now has a golden Feed All button next to the On Ranch and Storage counters — one press feeds every dinosaur at once, exactly as labeled, per the footage demo.

Small feature, real time savings once your ranch passes a dozen mouths — and it pairs well with the growth potions above, since fed dinos are the ones that grow (see the Feed All demo).
